Focus on Sustainable Clothing
Find out more at this FREE event
Fast fashion has a devastating impact on our planet.
Fashion is the world’s second most polluting industry, with a shocking 60%+ of all clothing produced globally ending up in landfill or incineration within a year.
Some estimates show that emissions from the fashion sector alone will rise to use up a quarter of the world’s carbon budget by 2050 without changes being made.
This is why Three Rivers District Council is taking a stand against fast fashion as part of this year’s Big Green Week with a focus on sustainable clothing.
There is an opportunity to find out more about the world of fast fashion and sustainable clothing at a
FREE EVENT at Watersmeet Theatre on Tuesday 1 November.
